If you are not accessing my services through ACC or the PHO, you will be required to pay upfront for your sessions. My private fees are $250.00 per 50 minute session. Longer sessions will be charged at a different rate (price on request).

CANCELLATION:
Please bear in mind that the purpose of my cancellation policy is to ensure that no client in-need misses out on psychological services. The more notice I am given of a cancellation, the more likely it is I can fill your cancelled slot with another client. I have a finite number of clinic hours each week, so my goal is to ensure that I see as many clients as possible. If you need to cancel a session at short notice and would like to reschedule, I will always do my best to accommodate you. However, my cancellation fees are non-negotiable.

In order to receive a full refund you will need to cancel or reschedule our session with at least 48 hours notice.
If you cancel 24-48 hours prior to our session you will be refunded 50% of the full fee paid.
I have a no-refund policy for sessions cancelled within 24 hours of our appointment.
Fees retained due to cancellation may not be used as credit for future sessions.

It’s difficult to put a number on how many sessions you will need as it’s different for everyone. I will give you an indication on sessions after an initial assessment has been completed. Sessions are usually weekly or fortnightly and last for 50 minutes.

Confidentiality is the foundation of our therapeutic relationship and it is important that you feel safe to discuss whatever you want to. I have a clinical supervisor as per my ethical requirements as a clinical psychologist, who I discuss client issues with. However clinical supervisors are bound by the same ethical guidelines and are used only to guide me in my practice.

There are some exceptions to the confidentiality rule which include; reporting to funding bodies if you came through ACC or the PHO; and if you tell me you are going to harm yourself or others. Other than that, your personal information and notes are stored in locked and secure systems, and I do not discuss our sessions with other people.

Holly House has a waiting room for clients. Often there is a receptionist present. If the waiting room is daunting I am happy to work out a plan which might help to minimise any distress.

Yes, if we are unable to meet in person I offer online Zoom sessions. These sessions are available when lockdown restrictions are in place due to COVID-19, or in special circumstances.

Under special circumstances I am able to come to your home, however travel time will be added to the overall fee. I also offer Zoom or telehealth sessions for those who may find it difficult to come to my office.

No, my appointment hours are between 9am – 3pm, Monday to Thursday.
